Great Lengths' Pink Hair Campaign is Back!
29 September 2014

Wednesday sees the start of look-after-your-boobies month. That's right, ladies. It's time to get off your asses and go and get your breasts checked out if you haven't already done so this year.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, the wonderful folks at Great Lengths are running their Pink Hair Shows You Care campaign again. If you took part last year, you'll remember the lovely pink strand that peeked out from your hair. This was mine (I purchased two!)

Pink Hair 2013

The strand is installed with the same method that Great Lengths uses to install their extensions. A patented keratin bond is used to attach the strand to your own hair and this ensures that the extensions look, feel and act just like your real hair. Hey, if it's good enough for Miss S.A., you can be sure you'll be looking all kinds of hot!

The campaign aims to raise money for the legends at CANSA and, to date, has raised over R250,000!

All you have to do is visit one of Great Lengths' Pink Hair participating salons, purchase your strand(s) for just R100 each and off you go. It takes less than 5 minutes and proceeds go straight to fighting this stuffed up disease.

But I ain't done... If you post a pic of your pink hair to the Great Lengths Facebook Page or tweet a pic to @GreatLengthsZA using the hashtag #PinkHair2014, you stand a chance to win one of five fabulous hair hampers!

The salon list can be found here and more will be added soon.

Let's do this!
