Make-Up Monday: Dermalogica's Multivitamin Thermafoliant

Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermafoliant

Yeah yeah, I realise this isn’t a make-up product per se, but the perfect canvas is necessary for a work of art, innit?

Much to my horror and ever-increasing denial about getting older, I was recommended a handful of products from Dermalogica’s AgeSmart range during a Face Mapping about three months ago.

Prevention IS better than cure and I was assured that the range is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin. Having been through the ringer with products from every brand house you could think of, I was naturally skeptical.

The product contains Salicylic Acid, Retinol, and Prickly Pear extract – this accelerates skin's natural exfoliation process. White Tea suppresses the formation of collagen-degrading bad guys, while Liquorice and vitamins C and E brighten skin tone, provide antioxidant defence against damaging free radicals, and help keep that skin firm.

I applied the Thermafoliant after my cleanser and was immediately pleased with how the product warmed up on contact. It’s the small things, you guys…

Anyway, after a gentle scrub-a-dub-dub, I rinsed the product off and didn’t recognise what I felt. Was this what Halle Berry’s life was like? When they speak of baby bum softness, is this what it all means?

After dry-humping the air in celebration of finding the perfect exfoliator, I looked in the mirror and noticed that glow as well. It may or may not have been from the dry-humping, we’ll never know.

It is recommended to follow exfoliation with a masque of your preference and moisturise afterwards. Don’t forget the SPF!

I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin’s condition and, in case you were wondering, am punting this product without being asked to…
