The Sky Screamer is the World's Tallest Swing Ride 27 May 2013
Truth be told, I'm always on the hunt for the next big thrill. My adrenal glands have convinced me to bungee jump off Vic Falls bridge, swim with sharks, and get inked.
But despite all of those 'accomplishments', there is often no greater rush than the one you experience at an amusement park. From the swings to the rollercoasters, your heart feels like it's dancing to dubstep the whole time.
I have yet to experience some of the best thrill rides in the world, though. Take the Kingda Ka in New Jersey, for example - its highest point hangs out at about 140 metres off the ground and launches you forward at a maximum speed of 206 km/h.
Or there's the Insanity at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. You know, for those who like to chill at 274 metres off the ground. Off the side of a building. Spinning at 112km/h. I'm gagging already.
But the latest addition to the thrill-seeker's bucket list comes straight outta Texas - where things are bigger and better. The "Sky Screamer" opened its doors last week Thursday and is the world's tallest swing ride, with the swings taking you around the building at 120 metres off the ground.
This excites me, but have a look at the video below and decide for yourself:
