I wanted to chat about something before the weekend kicks off. This week has been pretty overwhelming with STIR and with SwiftX because a lot of the seeds that we planted months ago all sprouted at once. Obviously.
This is great and all, but I suffer from what feels like chronic imposter syndrome. And I know that many people will tell me I’m being ridiculous, but it exists and it is something that I am constantly trying to work through.
Having said that, this week made me realise that if you are in a room or in a meeting or if you’re being praised or if you’re on a stage… Guess what? You are meant to be there!
The truth is that people do not have time for bullshit these days so if you’re there, you’re adding value and people give you their time for that reason.
We all need to realise that a bit more and rid ourselves of the self-doubt we possess. I wish I could take my own advice, but I’m getting there.
I’d love to hear if you feel the same way.
